High Point – Ruth Wear Kennedy, 75, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. Born August 16, 1947, in High Point, Ruth was the daughter of the late Burley and Dorothy Carroll Wear.
He was born May 2, 1947, in High Point and was the son of the late Dallas Grey and Sally Chandler Brown. Randy loved the mountains and enjoyed hunting, golf and fishing, but his greatest joy was time with his grandchildren. Dr. Early Maxwell “Max” Sink, 93 passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022 at his home after several years of battling Alzheimer’s. Dr. Sink was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 65 years, Dorothy “Dot” Elliott Sink. Jacqulene Whitaker McCarter of High Point, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on December 2nd, 2022, at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, William “Bill” McCarter, her daughter Kathy McCarter Ricks, and her grandson Gregory Young.

She loved to sit and chat with family members and joke around, while sipping her black coffee, laughing and smiling. She enjoyed be outside more than she ever did inside. She loved everyone unconditionally and left a little piece of herself with all who crossed her path. After earning bachelor's and master's degrees in Education from ISU, Theresa began her career in 1961 as an elementary school teacher for District 87 at Bent School in Bloomington. On May 24, 1956, she married Lewis Alfonso Garrison of Bloomington, at her parents' home.
A resident of this area most of his life, he was a graduate of Trinity High School. He worked in the furniture components industry for many years and retired from Leggett and Platt. After retirement, he worked for Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale taking care of families in his community. He was born April 11, 1997, in Greensboro and was the son of Michael Lee and Janine Gayle Herrold White.... Born in High Point, he was a son of James Otis Hutchins and Beatrice Ball...
